PHP Zend is one of the leading PHP Frameworks developed by Zend Technologies and licensed under New BSD License. The framework is open source, object oriented web applications framework and is being used to developed several large scale applications. One of our recent applications developed using PHP Zend is Runashop.com. This is an affiliate shop generation tool with over 30 Million products, thousands of shops and hundreds of merchants. The entire platform is hosted on Amazon Web Services where the servers are auto-scaled depending on the load. Furthermore, to process the huge amount of data everyday in reasonable amount of time, the load is distributed on a server farm of data processing servers to download and process updated data.
